As a licensed nurse and an Assisted Living Administrator, Sara Wright created Assisted Living Consultants of Denver to offer professional support to Colorado Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. ALCD has a unique ability to cater to each client’s specific needs and priorities whether it be to provide interim or long term organizational support or as a CDPHE approved intermediate condition consultant.

 

Sara has nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, including more than 12 years in key leadership roles within senior living communities. Her most recent positions were as Executive Director and Assisted Living Administrator of several organizations in Denver. Prior to operating these buildings, she held the role as Assisted Living Director and Health and Wellness Director at communities in both Colorado and Illinois.

 

Prior to completing nursing school in Oregon, Sara graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and Nutrition. She has always had a heart and love for helping others and a special interest in serving senior living communities.

Sara takes pride in maintaining clinically sound and regulatory compliant communities and guiding others to do the same. Additionally, she has a desire to cultivate a caring and person-directed environment for older adults, families, and associates, alike. Her understanding of varying roles allows her the transparency and ability to relate to the wide variety of ALCD clients.

Bringing expertise and passion to ALCD, Sara implements tools to promote successful practices which have been of tremendous benefit to numerous organizations. All of Sara’s experience has culminated in becoming the type of nurse, resource, and advisor she is today.
